The Pond Fork Area Photovoice Group is one of two Photovoice groups located in Boone County, West Virginia and includes the communities of Van, Bim, Wharton, Bob White, Bandytown, and Twilight. The members of the Pond Fork Area Photovoice Group include (in alphabetical order) Brenda Farris, Joanne Frame, Tammy Frame, Mary Jane Linville, and Joan Linville. From September of 2008 to May of 2009, these five women created more than fifty photostories telling the story of their area. Their photostories fall within four major themes listed below.
